Well it is offical - It's a BOY

Tuesday, Nov 3rd - which was my husband's birthday we headed to the doctor for our 20week appointment. AS soon as my doctor started the ultra sound he said "It'a Boy!" I think that was the best birthday present I could have given my husband. Cade, my 7year old, is so excited to have a brother. Addyson, my 5 year old, is so disappointed. She wanted a sister so bad. I think she was made for at least 2 days. She is now getting use to the idea of another brother and hopefully in time she will be okay with it. I am so thankful also that the baby looked healthy. No birth defects at all.

Now we need to find a first name. We know the middle name will be Andrew, but we are having a hard time agreeing with a first name. I have suggested over 25 names to Andy and he has yet to find one he likes. Hopefully we will have a name before the baby is here in March.

I am leaving you with a picture of that day - I will post the sonogram pictures as soon as I have time.

2+1=3

Yes that would be 3 kids!!!!

Well as most of my friends and family know – We are Expecting Again!!! Whoo Hoo!! I have waited to announce it on my blog because I wanted to make sure that another miscarriage would not happen. I am happy to announce that I am 16 weeks along and doing GREAT!! God is Always Good and Faithful. It was a hard time in March when we lost the baby at 9 weeks. I prayed for months for God to give us another child - a healthy child that I would not miscarry. Well , as the months went on and I prayed – others were praying for me as well. In late June early July we went on our family vacation to Daytona Beach. I was suppose to be ovulating that week but the ovulation tests kept coming up negative. I just kept praying and knew God would give us a child in His timing not mine. Well, what I didn’t realize is that was the week I got pregnant. I discovered in July that I was 6 weeks pregnant and due in March. God is so good to us. Our friends are so good to us for constantly praying for us and our desire to have another child. Cade and Addyson are so excited and ready for the baby to be here. It has been a year of ups and downs. I am glad God allowed me to have a miscarriage so I could see the support, love, and prayers of my family and friends. I also saw God in many people I did not know but wanted to reach out and comfort me. God has perfect timing and a perfect plan. I am so glad He is in control !!

Flood

Ok so many of you know that we had a HISTORIC flood here in Georgia last week. Well, we happen to live in one of the counties that was hit the hardest. School was out for a whole week and I was out of work for 3 days (I-20 was shut completely down and roads were closed everywhere so I could not get to work). Andy was out of town when the flooding began and only came into town for a short 16 hours to help with some clean up and was off again. We were very lucky to only have a portion of our basement flooded. We have removed the carpet and some drywall and will be trying to fix it in the near future. However, there are people around us that were not so fortunate - they have lost everything. Please pray for this people as they are trying to rebuild their lives. If you would like to help - you can donate items, money, or your time please check out www.westridge.com for more information on how you can help. Here is some pictures of the flooding of the lake and common areas in our neighborhood.

GATOR NATION

Sorry for the long time between posts - but today I will be posting twice to fill you in on all that is going on in the Rose household.

First of all, my husband finally got his Father's Day gift on Sept 12th when our family heading to the Florida vs. Troy game at The Swamp in Gainesville. If you didn't know my husband has always been a HUGE GATOR fan all of his life. He lives for Gator football. He is always wearing one of his MANY Gator shirts. I even think his favorite colors are blue and orange. So for Father's Day this year I bought 4 tickets to go see the Gators in action. We are all huge Gator fans and Tim Tebow fans so we were excited for the day to begin.

When we first woke up that Saturday morning we were greeted with the Gator buses in front of our hotel. We were a little confused but then realized the Florida football team had stayed in our very hotel that night. So as we were going to breakfast we saw all the Gator players head to the buses to go to the stadium. It was pretty cool. So we were off to the stadium to watch the game. As typical Florida weather would have it - it rained during the 2nd and 3rd quarter. But we pulled out our ponchos and made a great time of watching Gator football in the rain. The Gators of course won and we all loved the energy in that stadium that day for the Gators. I think we will be heading back next year for another game:) Here are some pictures of us at the game. Enjoy!!

My Best Friend's Wedding

Back on Friday, August 28, 2009 I had the honor of being one of the two Matrons of Honor in my best friend's wedding. Terri Beth and Eric got married at The Grandview at Rock City. And I was honored when she wore my veil as something borrowed. It was a beautiful wedding and a fun reception. I think me and Addyson danced all night long. I always knew that God would send Terri Beth a man he wanted her to marry and I am so glad he did. She may had to wait a few years longer than me but God sent her Eric who is wonderful to her. I am so happy for these two and so glad that they live close. (Like in the neighbordhood) Here are some pictures of the day. Congrats Terri Beth and Eric Rowland!!

Another Birthday and Another School Year

Wow!! Where does the time go? I am another year older and the kids just started school. Yes last Saturday – August 15th was my 33rd birthday!! I can’t believe I am 33 I feel like I am still in my twenties. Oh well life goes on. I had an awesome time on my birthday. My husband Andy and friend Maranda took me to Helen and we went tubing down the river. For some reason I was the only one that fell in the river and lost my shoe in the process. Needless to say I lost my SOLE in the river that day. HAHA!! Anyway, after the tubing experience we met up with Terri Beth and Eric and ate at one of the cute pubs in Helen. We did a little sight seeing while we were there then loaded up to come home. It was a great way to spend my birthday. Here are some pictures below.

Then on Monday August 17 it was the first day of school. Cade started 2nd grade this year while Addyson started Kindergarten!! I couldn’t believe my baby was going to big school. They both are loving being in school and love their teachers. If you ask Addyson what the best part of her day is she will say – lunch and riding the bus. So here are some pictures of them on the first day of school.

The end of Summer

Well I will be back to blogging more regularly since the summer is coming to an end. School starts back next week and Cade will be entering 2nd Grade and Addyson will be going into Kindergarten. Can you believe my baby is going to big school? So stay tuned to posts of the first day of school.

But in the mean time I will fill you in on what we have been doing since I last posted. Well, we have been hanging out at the pool every weekend with friends and then cooking out every Saturday night with them. It has been a great time this summer just relaxing and hanging out.

Andy and I did venture out of the country to our favorite place MEXICO. While the kids were on vacation with their father we thought it would be a great time to get away again. So we grabbed our passports and headed to sunny Cancun, Mexico. We stayed at an amazing resort called NH Rivera Cancun. We stayed on the all adults side of the resort which was awesome. Hardly anyone was on this side but the honeymoon couples so we practically had the pool and beach to ourselves. The pool was amazing with hammocks in the pool, cabaƱa beds all around the pool , and the swim up bar for all your tasty fruity drinks. It was an infinity pool that overlooked the ocean and the view was fabulous. Here are some pictures from our trip so enjoy!!
